Abstract:
An electronic device according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document comprises: a connection port comprising a plurality of pins; and at least one processor operatively coupled to the connection port, wherein the at least one processor may: detect a first interrupt signal corresponding to the insertion of a first accessory from a first pin from among the plurality of pins; identify the type of the first accessory on the basis of a voltage level of a second pin from among the plurality of pins; detect a second interrupt signal corresponding to the insertion of a second accessory from a third pin from among the plurality of pins; and identify the type of the second accessory on the basis of the voltage level of the second pin. Various other embodiments identified through the specification may also be possible.
