Abstract:
Provided are an acid production device and acid production process using multi-stage oxidation of hydrogen sulfide acidic gas. Said device comprises a H2|S combustion device (4), a combined reactor (5) connected to the H2|S combustion device, a sulfuric acid vapor condenser (1) and an acid fog collector (6). The H2|S combustion device is used for combusting hydrogen sulfide acidic gas to produce SO2 process gas. The combined reactor is used for catalytically oxidizing the SO2 process gas to produce a SO2 process gas, and the combined reactor is provided with several catalyst bed layers (501, 503, 505) and interstage heat exchangers (502, 504) distributed between two adjacent catalyst bed layers. The sulfuric acid vapor condenser is used for condensing SO2 process gas to form sulfuric acid. The acid fog collector is connected to the sulfuric acid vapor condenser, and the junction is between the gas inlet and the exhaust outlet of the sulfuric acid vapor condenser. Said process can simultaneously process hydrogen sulfide acidic gas of both high and low concentrations, and can significantly reduce equipment investment and operation costs.
