Abstract:
The present invention provides: an acidic gas removing agent which has small fluctuations in the carbon dioxide absorption even in the coexistence of water when carbon dioxide is removed from a gas; an acidic gas removing method; an absorption device which is provided with an acidic gas removing agent; and an acidic gas cleaning device. The present invention uses an acidic gas removing agent which contains one or more substances that are selected from among hydroxyl group-containing compounds having a number-average molecular weight of 500 or more and derivatives of the hydroxyl group-containing compounds.
