Abstract:
Provided is an acidic gas separation module wherein: the acidic gas separation module has a layered body formed from a member for a supply gas flow path, a porous support, an intermediate layer a part of which is soaked into the porous support, and a facilitated transport membrane on the intermediate layer; the ratio of the thickness of the intermediate layer on the porous support and the thickness of the same soaked into the porous support is 0.1 - 100; and the gas permeability of the intermediate layer is 500 barrer or greater. Thus, in an acidic gas separation module, which uses a facilitated transport membrane, the carriers for the facilitated transport membrane are prevented from penetrating the porous support.
