Abstract:
Provided are: an acoustic control member that can further improve sound quality of sound output from a speaker; and a production method for this acoustic control member. The acoustic control member comprises: a damping layer 2 being an acoustic control mat S arranged on the rear surface side of the speaker with a gap between the mat and the rear surface and suppressing vibration generated in an outer panel caused by sound output from the speaker; and a sound-absorbing layer 1 laminated on a surface on the speaker side of the damping layer 2 and including a sound-absorbing material. Recessed areas 1B having a recessed shape when viewed from the speaker side and protruding areas 1A having a convex shape when viewed from the speaker side are formed on a surface on the speaker side of the sound-absorbing layer 1. The density of the sound-absorbing material in the recessed areas 1B and the density of the sound-absorbing material in the protruding areas 1A are different.
