Abstract:
In the present invention, a detection unit (730) detects a shielding object that obstructs the progress of low-directivity sound output from a low-directivity sound output unit (910L). Also, the detection unit (730) detects a reflector that can reflect directional sound output from a directional sound output unit (910H) and that is present in the direction of progress of a vehicle (CR). Next, on the basis of the current position and vehicle speed of the vehicle (CR), a control unit (740A) specifies a region regarding which notify the approach of the vehicle (CR) travelling at the speed at the current point in time and that is a region to which the low-directivity sound does not reach as a result of the detected shield. Also, the control unit (740A) uses the reflector contained in the detection results to extract a pathway for causing directional sound to arrive at the shielding notified region. When such a pathway is extracted, the control unit (740A) subjects the directional sound output unit (910H) to rotational control that causes the orienting of a speaker (SPH) of the directional sound output unit (910H) to a direction for causing directional sound to progress along the extracted pathway.
