Abstract:
Neither the acoustic image location device using a single IIR filter according to a parameter corresponding to a target position nor the acoustic image location device using one standard head transmission function has enabled many listeners to locate an acoustic image easily and correctly. An acoustic image location device provided is constituted to include parameter setting means for setting a parameter to reproduce the structural features of the head transmission function from physical feature information coming from the image information of a listener, the attributes of the listener, the target position inputted and so on, and acoustic image location processing means for processing a sound source signal with an acoustic image location in accordance with that parameter, to output an acoustic image location signal.
