Abstract:
The present invention relates to an acoustic sensor and a home appliance system having the same. The acoustic sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communication unit; a microphone for collecting acoustic signals; a memory for storing defect acoustic signals of home appliances; and a processor for performing control so as to transmit, to an external server or a terminal, the collected acoustic signals or data corresponding to the collected acoustic signals, when the acoustic signals collected through the microphone correspond to the defect acoustic signals of the home appliances. Therefore, defect diagnosis on the home appliances can be readily performed.
