Abstract:
The present invention provides an acoustic wave device that is capable of inhibiting ripples in the frequency characteristics. This acoustic wave device 1 comprises: a support substrate; a piezoelectric layer 14 that is provided upon the support substrate; a functional electrode (first and second electrode fingers 18, 19) that is provided upon the piezoelectric layer 14; a first electrode film (first bus bar 16) and a second electrode film (second bus bar 17) that are both provided upon the piezoelectric layer 14, face one another, and have different electric potentials; and a dielectric film 15 that is provided between the piezoelectric layer 14 and at least a portion of the first electrode film and/or between the piezoelectric layer 14 and at least a portion of the second electrode film.
