Abstract:
Provided are an acquisition method, a program and an imaging device that can acquire a peak timing at which the light amount of a light source is at a maximum value, without switching imaging drive modes. This acquisition method includes: generating, on the basis of a first image with no flicker streak and a second image with a flicker streak, a third image from which the flicker streak has been extracted; determining a dividing method for dividing the third image on the basis of at least one of a read direction for reading an image signal from an imaging element, a light measurement region in an imaging region of the imaging element, and pixels constituting the imaging element; dividing the third image into a plurality of regions in the horizontal direction on the basis of the dividing method; calculating the brightness of each of the plurality of regions; acquiring at least one of the maximum brightness value of the brightness and the maximum darkness value of the brightness; and acquiring a flicker peak timing on the basis of the position of the region with the maximum brightness value and/or the region with the maximum darkness value in the third image.
