Abstract:
An actinic ray curable composition that excels in storability, having low viscosity and high sensitivity, and that is capable of forming a cured film with high hardness and excellent weather resistance in various environments, in particular, highly humid atmosphere; an actinic ray curable ink making use of the composition; a method of image forming in which the actinic ray curable ink is used as an inkjet ink; an inkjet recording apparatus therefor; and a novel epoxy compound. The actinic ray curable composition is characterized by containing, as photopolymerizable compounds, at least one epoxy compound of the following general formula (X) and at least one oxetane compound, and by having a viscosity of 1 to 500 mPa·s at 25°C.
