ACTIVATING DEVICE FOR CAR WINDOWS AND SIMILAR PARTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/022482
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An activating device for car windows and similar parts having a car window activating module (1A) which automatically closes the windows which are open, after the air conditioning system of the vehicle is turned on. It is an object of the invention to provide a system, which, when the air conditioner system is turned on, preserves the environment in which the temperature is being controlled, besides increasing energy saving and durability of parts, and adding more comfort for users. The device comprises a switch for activating the air conditioner (8) on the panel (9). Upon activation, the air conditioner (8) sends a signal to the window activation module (1A), right front (3), left front (4), right rear (5), and left rear (6).

Description:
Title: ACTIVATING DEVICE FOR CAR WINDOWS AND SIMILAR PARTS

Refers the present object to a new and functional system for activating car windows when the air conditioner system is turned on, to preserve the environment in which the temperature is being controlled, besides increasing energy saving and durability of parts, adding more comfort for users. The present object's goal is the automatic activation of car windows when the air conditioner system is turned on, through a connection of the of the air conditioner activating module and the front and rear window's modules. The air conditioner refreshes the environment, through the hot air that goes through a piping, which is then cooled through the use of a very cool gas. Though there is not physical contact, there is an exchange of temperatures between them in the piping; the air becomes cold and goes inside the vehicle. The gas, that keeps the piping cold, turns hot and the impact of the heating transforms it to a liquid state. After, it is sent to the compressor and the condenser for being once again converted to gas state, for cooling the air. Its activation is made through a switch on the vehicle's panel, provided with a temperature oscillator. The window lifter mechanism is simple; it raises the glass and keeps it evenly leveled. A small electric engine is connected to an screw gear and to several other gears for creating a huge reduction of transmission, creating enough torque for lifting the glass. Many of these screw gears have an automatic lock device because of the contact angle between the screw and the gear. The screw may spin with the gear, but the gear may not spin with the screw: the wiring in between locks the gear. The mechanism has a long arm, attached to a bar that holds the lower part of the glass. The extremity of the arm may slide to a groove on the bar, following the glass. On the other end of the bar, there is another plate that has a gear attached to another gear, spun by the engine. 1 On the basic wiring system and window activation, the electricity is led to

2 the driver's door through a disjunctor of 20 amperes. The energy reaches the

3 control panel of the switches and it's then distributed for the contact at the

4 center of the switch for each window. Two contacts, one on each end of the

5 energy, are connected to the ground wire to the vehicle and the engine. The β energy also goes through a locking switch until one of the window switches on

7 each door. When the driver presses one of the switches, one of the two side

8 contacts is disconnected from the ground wire and connects to the center of

9 the energy contact, while the other remains grounded. This gives energy to the0 window engine. If the switch is pressed backwards, the energy will go through1 the engine on the opposite direction. 2 On an more advanced system, the windows work differently. The energy3 goes through the engine directly through one of the switches, and these are4 connected to one of many electronic modules on the car. Some cars have one5 of these on the driver's door, acting as the central module called car control. β For example, if the driver presses his switch of his window, the door module7 closes a relay that feeds the window engine. If the driver presses a switch for8 adjusting the passenger's mirror, the engine module of the driver's door sends9 a series of data to the communication device of the car. These data tell the o controller of the car to energize one of the engines of the electric mirror. 1 In this case an operation was added to the electric window activation,2 automatically with the switch for the air conditioner, through a relay that sends3 and receives all information from the communication device, to be activated4 when the switch of the air conditioner is presses. This is, when the user5 presses the air conditioner switch, automatically information is sent to the6 communication device that tell that, if the window is lowered, they are7 automatically raised, to preserve the environment on the desired temperature,8 chosen on the temperature oscillator. 9 Currently, electric windows are activated on a solo basis, not having0 interference from another activation, besides when it's related to alarms and locks, that when activating the lock switch, it automatically closes the vehicle's doors and raises the window. Therefore, it was developed a product that allies simplicity, safety and low cost with an high industrial workability, with great advantages for its users.
