Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an active energy ray-curable ink composition for offset printing, with which, despite having an increased proportion of raw materials derived from biomass, it is possible to maintain the fundamental properties of an ink composition, such as compatibility, and possible to prevent a connection to hunger problems. [Solution] An active energy ray-curable ink composition for offset printing contains a photopolymerization initiator and a compound comprising an ethylenically unsaturated bond, wherein said ink composition should be used by combining: a rosin-modified alkyd resin which is a polycondensate of a polyhydric alcohol and an acid component containing a resin acid, a fatty acid, and a polybasic acid, and which has a prescribed solubility parameter sp value and acid value; and a specific liquid component having a prescribed sp value.
