Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem that both printing parts before and after retort processing have sufficiently high adhesion and excellent scratch resistance, ink and varnish do not peel off from the printed surface of each retort product, the ink on the printed surface does not transfer to other surfaces even when heated at high temperatures during heat sealing, and bag-like articles obtained in this way have printed parts having good bending resistance. As a solution, provided is an active energy ray-curable ink composition for surface printing, said composition containing the following components (A), (B), and (C), and satisfying the following conditions (1) and (2). Component (A): an ethylene oxide-added polyfunctional monomer having 6-60 moles of ethylene oxide added. Component (B): a compound having an unmodified polymethylsiloxane skeleton. Component (C): an active energy ray-curable oligomer and/or polymer. Condition (1): the content of monomers other than component (A) constitutes 15 mass% or less of the active energy ray-curable ink composition for surface printing. Condition (2): the content of component (B) constitutes 0.2-10.0 mass% of the active energy ray-curable ink composition for surface printing.
