Abstract:
This active power measuring device comprises: a frequency estimator for estimating, on the basis of a time series of a voltage of an alternating current being transmitted to or received from a power grid by a target device, the period and frequency of the alternating current; and an active power measuring instrument for calculating a moving average value of an instantaneous power of the alternating current in a plurality of periods, for each period of the alternating current, and measuring active power transferred by the target device during one period of the alternating current, from a difference between the calculated moving average value and the moving average value calculated previously.
