Abstract:
An optical system 114 illuminates a controllable illumination range A with radiated light from a semiconductor light source 112. A light sensor 120 detects reflected light L2 resulting from the radiated light of the optical system 114 reflecting off an object. A light distribution controller 116 controls the optical system 114 such that the illumination range A narrows in accordance with a decrease in the output of the semiconductor light source 112.
