Abstract:
This actuator device comprises: a field-responsive polymer actuator having a pair of electrodes; a driving unit; and a waveform editing unit. The driving unit is configured to drive the field-responsive polymer actuator by repeatedly applying a voltage, which is changed on the basis of driving waveform data on a voltage change of one period, between the pair of electrodes. The waveform editing unit is configured to change edition waveform data on the basis of a user operation. When the edition waveform data is changed during the driving of the field-responsive polymer actuator, the actuator device is configured to update the driving waveform data so as to set the changed edition waveform data as the new driving waveform data, and drive the field-responsive polymer actuator on the basis of the updated driving waveform data.
