Abstract:
The present invention provides a high-precision actuator which has a small vertical size and in which backlash is suppressed. An actuator 1 comprises a reduction gear section and a motor section. In the reduction gear section, an annular fixed gear 5 and an annular output gear 4 are arranged in parallel to each other, and a rocking gear 6 is disposed between the fixed gear 5 and the output gear 4 in a state of being inclined with respect to the fixed gear 5 and the output gear 4. The fixed gear 5 and the rocking gear 6 are configured so as to mesh with each other at a first position, and the rocking gear 6 and the output gear 4 are configured so as to mesh with each other at a second position. Magnetic force, generated by an electromagnet 8 in the motor section and a permanent magnet 7 fixed to the outer circumference of the rocking gear, acts in a meshing pressing direction on both sides at the first position and the second position so as to suppress backlash.
