Abstract:
An ad hoc network (101) includes mobile terminals (501-506) and a plurality of gateway nodes (401,402) that constitute the internal network (101) together with the mobile terminals (501-506) and that serve as connection points to an external network (100). A mobile terminal (503) selects a gateway node (401) through a path search procedure to communicate with the external network (100) via the gateway node (401). When receiving a notification of path disconnection during that communication, the mobile terminal (503) performs a path search procedure again to select a gateway node (402) anew and continue the communication with the external network via the gateway node (402).
