Abstract:
An adapter device (1) for use with an exercise bench (P) for weight lifting, which device (1) comprises: - a first (21) and a second (22) lateral arm, spaced transversely from each other and arranged externally side by side to the respective lateral edges of the exercise bench; - a main resting platform (20), wherein the lateral arms (21, 22) and the platform (20) define a supporting surface (200) of the subject's body substantially "U"-or "C"-like shaped integrally adaptable in height and width to the used exercise bench; and - elevation legs (3) of the supporting surface (200), configured to support the lateral arms (21, 22) and the platform (20) in an elevated position with respect to a walking plane and substantially placed side by side to said bench surface, wherein, in use, the supporting surface (200) receives a lateral part of the subject's torso at the lateral arms (21, 22) and the lower limbs of the latter at the platform (20).
