Abstract:
An adapter and an electronic device. The adapter comprises a housing assembly (10) and an adapter mechanism (20), wherein the housing assembly (10) comprises a lower housing (11) and an upper housing (12) connected to the lower housing (11); the lower housing (11) has a first plug-in surface facing forwards; the first plug-in surface is provided with a mesh (101) communicated to a top surface; the upper housing (12) has a closing position having a horizontal height not higher than the top surface and an opening position having a horizontal height higher than the top surface, and the upper housing (12) can move between the closing position and the opening position; the adapter mechanism (20) comprises an adaptor controller (21) and a network cable socket (22); when the upper housing (12) is in the opening position, the upper housing (12) and a hole wall of the mesh (101) can jointly form a plug-in groove having an opening facing towards the first plug-in surface, so that a network cable plug can be plugged into the plug-in groove and electrically connected to the network cable socket. The adapter implements the requirement for lightness and thinness, and can further implement high plugging of the network cable plug on the basis of the light and thin design.
