Abstract:
An adaptive cruise control method, being applied to an ACC system running in an ADAS controller of a target vehicle, and comprising: acquiring a plurality of real-time speed values corresponding to a target vehicle in a current calculation period; acquiring a plurality of real-time speed values corresponding to a vehicle ahead in the current calculation period; according to a preset safe distance calculation formula, the plurality of real-time speed values corresponding to the target vehicle in the current calculation period and the plurality of real-time speed values corresponding to the vehicle ahead in the current calculation period, calculating a safe distance corresponding to the target vehicle; and, according to the safe distance, performing adaptive cruise control on the target vehicle. The method can effectively improve the control precision of adaptive cruise control performed on the target vehicle by the ACC system. Further disclosed are an adaptive cruise control apparatus and a storage medium.
