Abstract:

One embodiment of the present invention is an addition-type silicone composition for dental use, which contains a methyl phenyl polysiloxane and hydrophobic silica particles, and which does not substantially contain a surfactant. This addition-type silicone composition for dental use is configured such that: the hydrophobic silica particles have a BET specific surface area of 30 m2/g or more; and the mass ratio of the methyl phenyl polysiloxane to the hydrophobic silica particle is from 0.01 to 5.
