CLAIMS - The invention relates to an additional exercise providing apparatus that can be integrated into the profile (P) parts of reformer (R) machines, and its feature is; one long bearing element (1) positioned on one side of the profile (P) and at least one short bearing element (2) positioned on the other side, at least one hook shaft (3) and butterfly nut (4) securing the long bearing element (1) and the short bearing element (2) in such a way that they separate the profile (P), it has at least one fixed belt (5) associated with the hook shaft (3). - As mentioned in Claim 1, it is a long bearing element (1) and its feature is; It is characterized by the fact that the short bearing element (2) has a channel (1.1) structure that allows it to move along the horizontal axis by sliding. - As mentioned in Claim 1, it is a short bearing element (2), and its feature is; It is characterized by the fact that it has a hole (2.1) that enables the hook shaft (3) to be accommodated.

Technical Field:

The present invention relates to an additional exercise providing apparatus that can be integrated into reformer machines that aim to train different muscle groups.

State of the Art:

Pilates is a physical fitness system developed by Joseph Hubert in the early twentieth century to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and improve the overall health of the body. Exercises are performed on mats or with specially designed equipment. The Pilates system includes exercises suitable for different activities to work every part of the body.

Pilates is divided into five basic groups according to the tools and pilates materials used in the current technique. The main element in this distinction is to directly affect the area or muscle group to be exercised in the body. These are mat pilates, instrument pilates, pilates reformer, pilates barrel, Cadillac pilates.

The form of pilates, known in the art as pilates reformer, is a type of instrument pilates. As the name suggests, in this type of pilates, pilates exercises are performed using the reformer device. With this mechanism, a plane (stretcher) placed on the wheels is moved. It is provided to move with the support of springs. The frequency and tension of these springs have varying degrees of resistance. Reformer device; It has an adjustable system according to weight, height or degree of work. A person who practices Pilates reformer works parts of his body. Therefore, the right part of the body and the left part of the body can be operated symmetrically. However, the problem with these devices is that they are ineffective in working two different muscle groups at the same time. Namely; A person lying on a stretcher cannot work his arm at the same time while his legs are working, or a person with arm movements cannot work his leg group at the same time. In the utility model application numbered TR201914533, the smart reformer pilates device is described. This invention relates to a reformer pilates device that reduces the effect of the gravitational force used to stretch, strengthen and restore the lost energy of the body, reducing the effect of the gravitational force, which enables the application of such movements much more easily, and its feature is that it allows exercise planning through personal screens in line with personal needs.

In the utility model application numbered TR201806259, the portable pilates reformer machine is described. The subject of the invention relates to a portable pilates reformer machine, which is lightweight, easy to assemble, includes plush bands, sled slider, push bar, wheel, tension springs and bar entry parts.

In the applications given above, improvements have been made on the reformer machines, and a technical solution is described in the form of these machines being portable and foldable, there is no solution that works different muscle groups.

Consequently, there is a need for a new technology that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above.

Description of the Invention:

The main purpose of our product, which is the subject of the invention, is to enable the person to do two different exercises at the same time. The person will be able to perform both leg and arm movements at the same time while sitting, lying or standing on the stretcher with our apparatus. In the existing methods, one end of the belt integrated into the pulleys is also connected to the stretcher. When the stretcher moves, the belt at the other end of the pulley oscillates/tenses. These movements made with the stretcher are reflected parallel to the reel. For this reason, our apparatus, which is the subject of the invention, acts as a kind of fixed support and can operate independently of the stretcher or pulley with the additional tension shafts and belts attached to it. For this reason, he will be able to perform both arm and leg movements at the same time, and to work two or more muscle groups at the same time, in all movements that the person will perform while sitting, lying or standing on the stretcher.

Another function provided by our apparatus, which is the subject of the invention, is that it can be compatible with all types of reformer machines. Together with the channel structure provided by the apparatus, the short-length apparatus on it will be able to move horizontally back and forth and depending on the profile width of the reformer machines, it will allow the person or the trainer to assemble without any difficulty.

Another advantage of our apparatus, which is the subject of the invention, is that it offers easy assembly. After our apparatus is placed on the profiles, the assembly process can be realized only after the wing nut is tightened by hand. Likewise, the disassembly process can be carried out at the same speed and time is saved.

Since our apparatus, which is the subject of the invention, is made of materials that are easy to produce, it does not suffer from any wear, cracking, etc. Customer satisfaction will be kept at the highest level by ensuring that only the damaged part is delivered to the user, since the apparatus will not be produced in a monolithic way.

It is easy to install thanks to the easy fixing of the parts that make up the invention, and the costs are low due to the short assembly time. Moreover, the invention has a solid construction.

Detailed Description of The Invention:

The parts that make up the invention are basically; long bearing element (1), short bearing element (2), hook shaft (3), butterfly nut (4) and fixed belt (5). The long bearing element (1) has one canal (1.1) on it. The short bearing element (2) contains at least one hole (2.1). Figure 1 is an image showing how our apparatus, which is the subject of the invention, is applied to reformer (R) machines. Our apparatus is especially coupled to the profile (P) parts of reformer (R) machines. This assembly is pluggable.

Images of the apparatus which is the subject of the invention are given in Figure 2-3. The mounting method of our invention on the profiles (P) is as follows; While the long bearing element (1) is positioned on one part of the profile (P), the short bearing element (2) is placed on the other part of the profile (P). During this assembly, the short bearing element (2) moves back and forth on the horizontal axis according to the profile (P) width of the reformer (R) machine. After adjusting the height and width, the butterfly nut (4) at the ends of the hook shafts (3) are tightened. The assembly is completed. Finally, exercise movements are performed by passing the fixed straps (5) through the hook parts of the hook shafts (3).

There is one canal (1.1) from one end to the other on the long bearing element (1). The short bearing element (2) is associated with the long bearing element (1) along the canal (1.1). Hook shafts (3) act as bedding. In order to prevent the hook shafts (3) from coming apart, the butterfly nut (4) are associated with these hook shafts (3). The hook shafts (3) are placed in the hole (2.1) on the short bearing elements (2). Instead of fixed belt (5), tension cords, ropes, etc. can be used.
