Abstract:
An additive for acidic zinc alloy plating bath according to the present invention is used for obtaining acidic zinc alloy plating bath that can provide a zinc alloy plating film having satisfactory appearance, and contains active components that are a glycine-containing water-soluble substance and an aliphatic polyamine having 12 or less carbon atoms. The glycine/polyamine ratio which is a ratio of the molar concentration in terms of glycine of the glycine-containing water-soluble substance to the molar concentration of the aliphatic polyamine may be preferably 0.1-40 inclusive. The present invention also provides acidic zinc alloy plating bath comprising the additive and a zinc alloy plating film formed with the acidic zinc alloy plating bath.
