Abstract:
Provided is an electrode wherein it is possible to improve the storage properties and the charge/discharge cycle properties at high temperatures of a lithium ion battery or a lithium ion capacitor. The present invention is an additive for an electrode, the additive containing an amino compound (A) which has an amino group and in which the oxidation potential is in the range of 3.8 V and 4.2 V relative to metallic lithium. Preferably, the amino compound (A) is a triazole (A1) having 1 to 5 amino groups. More preferably, the amino compound (A) is a 1,2,4-triazole in which the 3-position and/or the 5-position is substituted with an amino group.
