Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adhering-type cleaning nonwoven fiber and a method of manufacturing same. The method of manufacturing the adhering-type cleaning nonwoven fiber comprises the steps of: forming a web by needle punching staple fibers having a dry weight of 30 to 300 g/m2, a fiber length of 15 to 51 mm, and having different deniers; impregnating or spray treating a water soluble adhesive on the web; and squeeze processing the web treated with the adhesive, and then drying same, wherein the water soluble adhesive which includes a solvent and one or more kinds of adhesive resins selected from the group consisting of acrylic resin and polyurethane, and the water soluble adhesive includes a 6 to 30% OWF content of the adhesive resin in the solvent. The adhering-type cleaning nonwoven fiber as manufactured above has a significantly superior dust adhesion rate than existing cleaning nonwoven fibers, and has a suitable amount of friction against the floor for cleaning, so as to be able to exhibit good performance as a cleaning fiber. Also, because the fiber has bulk, the fiber has good adhering effects on not only flat areas, but also cotton carpets, cushions, and other uneven areas.
