Provided are an adhesive agent transfer unit and a printer that suppress increased complication and size of a mechanism, stabilize conveying of paper, and are capable of suppressing delay in conveying of the section of the conveyed paper that has an adhesive agent transferred thereto. The present invention comprises: a pair of upstream-side conveying rollers 51 that sandwich and convey paper P; a transfer unit W arranged on one surface side of the conveyed paper P and having an adhesive tape T wound thereupon that has the adhesive agent S coated thereupon; and a transfer roller 52 provided on the other surface side of the conveyed paper P and interposing the paper P between the transfer roller 52 and the transfer unit W when transferring the adhesive agent S on the adhesive tape T wound on the transfer unit W, onto one side P1. At least one of the pair of upstream-side conveying rollers 51 is an upstream-side conveying drive roller 51a rotated by a drive member. The transfer roller 52 is rotated by the drive member.
