Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an adhesive bandage such as a band-aid that has, as a support, a superfine urethane nonwoven fabric that has excellent air permeability and elasticity, the adhesive bandage having a good balance of various desired properties including adhesiveness to own rear surface, drying property, gas transmission, and interlaminar strength by appropriately embossing the surface of the support. The present invention is an elongated adhesive bandage comprising the superfine urethane nonwoven fabric that is embossed on one side and has an adhesive layer laminated on the side opposite the embossed side, the adhesive bandage being characterized by having a ratio (y/x) of the 30% tensile load of the long side direction (y) of the adhesive bandage to the 30% tensile load of the short side direction (x) thereof of 0.8 to 2.0, a water retention rate per weight of the urethane nonwoven fabric of 0.8 or less, an adhesive force to Bakelite plates of 5.0 to 8.0 N/24 mm, and an adhesive force to the embossed surface (adhesive force to own rear surface) of 1.2 N/24 mm or more.
