Abstract:
Provided is an adhesive sheet configured such that, on a stress-distortion curve obtained through an evaluation test conducted on the adhesive sheet, the peak value of stress X (peak top stress Xmax) is 0.5 MPa or greater. Evaluation test: An end surface of an evaluation probe (which has a cylindrical shape, is 5 mm in diameter, and is made of stainless steel) is brought into contact with an adhesive surface of the adhesive sheet which has been pasted on a glass plate. The probe is held against the adhesive sheet for 300 seconds while applying a contact load of 100 N in the thickness direction of the adhesive sheet, causing the evaluation probe and the adhesive sheet to be in close contact with each other. Next, the evaluation probe is caused to be displaced, at a constant speed of 2 μm/min, in a direction of separation from the adhesive sheet at a right angle. Stress X and distortion Y generated on the adhesive sheet in the thickness direction thereof as a result of the displacement of the evaluation probe are measured, and from the measured stress X and distortion Y, the curve is obtained. This adhesive sheet is suitable for suppressing dimensional changes in an optical film included in an optical layered body, and also can secure the durability of the optical film.
