Abstract:
Provided is an acrylic adhesive sheet that exhibits an improved adhesive strength versus low surface free energy surfaces, and that does so while having an excellent holding strength. Also provided is an adhesive sheet containing an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer contains an acrylic polymer and a tackifier resin. An alkyl (meth)acrylate having an alkyl group having at least 6 carbon atoms at the ester terminal is polymerized in a proportion of at least 15 weight% in the acrylic polymer. Carboxy group-containing monomer is not copolymerized in the acrylic polymer, or the copolymerization proportion of carboxy group-containing monomer is less than 10 weight%. The tackifier resin content in the adhesive layer is 40-80 weight parts per 100 weight parts of the acrylic polymer. The adhesive layer comprises, as the tackifier resin, a tackifier resin TL having a softening point not greater than 110°C. The tackifier resin TL is at least 60 weight% of the total amount of tackifier resin incorporated in the adhesive layer.
