Abstract:
An adhesive-tape cutter has an adhesive tape-holding body on which adhesive tape can be rotatably installed; splitter thread-feeding means provided on the adhesive tape-holding body, capable of feeding a splitter thread to an adhesive surface in the pay-out direction of the tape; and a cutter portion capable of cutting the tape on which the splitter thread fed from the splitter thread-feeding means is adhered and capable of making incisions to form a tab in portion of the tape, which portion belongs to the cut portion of the tape where the splitter thread is adhered. The structure above enables opening work of cardboard boxes etc. to be facilitated and simplified by adhering the splitter thread to the tape and forming the tab, in the cut portion of the tape, for making tape splitting easier.
