Claims A heterogeneously structured adjustable lumbosacral stabilising belt characterised in that the belt consists of a flat fringed middle part made from two layers of tear-proof anti- skidding fabric and double elastic tightening straps coming out of the middle part and sewn in between the fabric layers of the middle part, terminated on both sides with a right-hand nylon link and a left-hand nylon link , with the inner side of the right-hand link being covered with sharp self-adhesive tape and the outer side of the left-hand link with soft self-adhesive tape. |
AMENDED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on 21 August 2015 (21.08.2015) Replacement of claims The following claim shall replace the original claim: A heterogeneously structured adjustable lumbosacral stabilising belt characterised in that the belt consists of a flat fringed middle part (1) made from two layers of tear- proof anti-skidding fabric and double elastic tightening straps (2.1, 2.2.) coming out of the middle part (1) and sewn in between the fabric layers of the middle part, terminated on both sides with a right-hand nylon Hnk (3.1) and a left-hand nylon link (3.2), with the inner side of the right-hand link being covered with hook polyamide tape (4) and the outer side of the left-hand link with loop polyamide tape (5). |
Technical field
The subject matter of the invention is an adjustable lumbosacral stabilising belt to be used inside bulletproof vests or plates or alone.
Background Art
A belt used as a support to help soldiers carry their weapons is known from the description of invention US 8635714 B2, but it lacks elastic tightening straps and is fastened with a buckle. A weight support and carrying belt used in vests is known from the description of invention US 8572762 B2, but it lacks elastic straps.
Disclosure of invention
A heterogeneously structured adjustable lumbosacral stabilising belt characterised in that the belt consists of a flat fringed middle part made from two layers of tear-proof anti- skidding fabric and double elastic tightening straps coming out of the middle part and sewn in between the fabric layers of the middle part, terminated on both sides with a right-hand nylon link and a left-hand nylon link, with the inner side of the right-hand link being covered with sharp self-adhesive tape and the outer side of the left-hand link with soft self-adhesive tape.
The advantage of the element according to the invention is that the belt stabilises the lumbosacral part of the body, stabilising and pressing hard ballistic products, most preferably bulletproof plates, and soft ballistic products, most preferably bulletproof vests, to the lower rear part of the back. Once drawn together in front, the elastic tightening straps create pressure, improving the stability of hard or soft ballistic products. The pressure can be easily adjusted to adapt it to individual needs. The belt according to the invention can be worn inside hard or soft ballistic products, most preferably bulletproof vests or plates, as well as alone. Due to its shape and fabric, the belt according to the utility model is comfortable to wear when standing, sitting or walking, and the anatomic fit of the elastic straps helps protect the iliac part of the body against being chafed. As the belt fits the body well, it will firmly keep a bulletproof vest or plate close to the body, preventing it from moving and thus ensuring the stabilising effect.
