Abstract:
This adjustable valve mechanism is provided with: a cam that rotates about a rotating axis in conjunction with rotation of an engine crank shaft; a rocker arm provided between the cam and a valve and which rocks by being pressed by the rotating cam and presses the valve by means of a first end thereof; a moving device for moving a second end of the rocker arm; a regulating member which is coupled with the first end of the rocker arm so as to be rotatable about a rocking axis parallel to the rotating axis, and which, when the second end of the rocker arm is moved by the moving device, regulates the relative displacement of the first end of the rocker arm to the valve; and a connection member connecting the second end of the rocker arm to the moving device so as to permit movement of the second end of the rocker arm about the rocking axis when the second end of the rocker arm is moved by the moving device.
