Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adsorption apparatus comprising a high-rate adsorption filter. More specifically, the present invention relates to an adsorption apparatus comprising a high-rate adsorption filter, which has increased adsorption efficiency by applying an adsorbent with a fast adsorption speed to an ion exchange process. The attachment of the high-rate adsorbent of the present invention to an outlet of a conventional ion exchange resin adsorption tower increases the destructive range of the ion exchange resin, thereby increasing the adsorption efficiency. In addition, through the use of tiny amounts of the high-rate adsorbent having relatively low capacity and high unit cost, the efficiency of adsorption processes can be maximized. In addition, in the apparatus of the present invention, a low-rate adsorbent, such as an ion exchange resin, has a high destructive range even in the severe conditions, such as a retention time of 10 minutes or less. Therefore, the use of the high-rate adsorbent of the present invention added to the low-rate adsorbent increases the process efficiency, and thus expecting a volume reduction in the adsorption process, an increase in the throughput per hour, and an increase in energy efficiency.
