Abstract:
Provided are an advertisement data processing method and a router. The advertisement data processing method comprises: receiving a data downloading request carrying advertisement position data and sent by a terminal device; performing searching to determine whether advertisement content data associated with the advertisement position data is stored locally; where the advertisement content data is not stored locally, forwarding the data downloading request to a content delivery network (CDN) server; and receiving the advertisement content data sent by the CDN server according to the advertisement position data, and storing the advertisement position data and the advertisement content data in an associated manner. According to the advertisement data processing method and the router in the embodiments of the present invention, advertisement position data and advertisement content data are correspondingly stored on a one-to-one basis, so that direct acquisition can be realized when a terminal device requests for data again, improving the data transmission speed and reducing loads of a CDN server.
