Abstract:
An electronic device according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document may be an electronic device comprising a display, a communication circuit, a memory in which instructions are stored, and a processor operationally connected to the display, the communication circuit, and the memory, wherein, when the stored instructions are executed, the processor executes a first application, acquires at least one user input in response to the execution of the first application, collects user information related to the at least one user input, determines advertisement selection criteria on the basis of the collected user information, requests an advertisement, to be displayed in the first application or a second application that is different from the first application, from an external device through the communication circuit on the basis of the determined advertisement selection criteria, receives a list of a plurality of advertisements corresponding to the advertisement selection criteria from the external device, determines at least one advertisement in the list of a plurality of advertisements on the basis of the collected information, and displays the determined at least one advertisement through the display.
