Abstract:
An acoustic emission (AE) sensor (1) comprises: a rotation part unit (2) including a piezoelectric transducer (4) that detects an elastic wave, a single-shot circuit (8) that outputs a reference value exceeded signal if the amplitude of the acoustic wave detected by the piezoelectric transducer (4) exceeds a reference value, and an infrared ray transmission module (12r) that externally outputs the reference value exceeded signal; and a fixed part unit (3) comprising an infrared ray receiving module (12s) that is not in contact with the rotating part unit (2) and that receives the reference value exceeded signal output by the infrared ray transmission module (12r).
