Abstract:
This aerial image display apparatus comprises: a display unit; an optical system that forms, as an aerial image of a real image, image light emitted from the display unit; a light-transmitting screen located between the aerial image and the optical system; and an image projection device that emits projection image light toward the light-transmitting screen from a direction different from the optical axis direction of the image light between the aerial image and the optical system. The light-transmitting screen displays a projection image by transmitting the image light therethrough and diffusing the projection image light.
