Abstract:

The aerial image display device of the present disclosure comprises: a display unit having a display surface; a first concave mirror that reflects image light emitted from the display surface, in a direction different from the direction headed toward the display unit; and a second concave mirror that reflects the image light reflected by the first concave mirror, in a direction different from the direction headed toward the first concave mirror, and forms an image as an aerial image of the actual image. In the aerial image display device, the degree of curvature of the first concave mirror is greater than the degree of curvature of the second concave mirror, and the angle of inclination of the first concave mirror relative to a first virtual plane that includes the display surface is less than the angle of inclination of the second concave mirror relative to a second virtual plane that includes a virtual imaging plane of the aerial image.
