An aerial work platform and a boom truck having the aerial work platform. The aerial work platform comprises: a work bucket; a supporting seat, the supporting seat being mounted on the work bucket; and an anti-pinch assembly, the anti-pinch assembly comprising a prepositioning member, an anti-pinch bar, a signal sensor, and an anti-pinch processing module, the prepositioning member being mounted on the supporting seat, the anti-pinch bar being movably connected to the supporting seat, the prepositioning member being used for enabling the anti-pinch bar to have potential energy to move towards an initial position, the signal sensor being electrically connected to the anti-pinch processing module, wherein when the anti-pinch bar is operated to move along a preset direction and detach from the initial position, the signal sensor is triggered to transmit a signal to the anti-pinch processing module. The boom truck comprises: the aerial work platform; and a boom, one end of the boom being connected to the aerial work platform, and the other end of the boom being used for connecting to a bottom frame of the boom truck. The aerial work platform can improve the safety performance of the aerial work platform when preventing an operator from being pinched.
