Title:
AEROPLANE AND METHOD OF ITS TRANSFORMING INTO PARKING CONFIGURATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1994/000346
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to the aviation industry, in particular, to light, two-three-seater aeroplanes of tourist class which may be used for training purposes, as well as in a medical version. The aeroplane comprises a fuselage with a cockpit (1), a power unit consisting of an engine (4) and a tractor propeller (5), a three-point landing gear with a nose (6) and main (7 and 8) supports, as well as a tail assembly of normal type. The carrying structure of the fuselage of the aeroplane consists of four flat frames (10, 11, 12 and 13), a lower carrying platform (14), four carrying beams (15, 16, 17 and 18), a transverse frame (20) and a fuselage tube (19). The carrying beams are rigidly connected to the fuselage tube (19), to the transverse frame (20) at its corners, and to the rear flat frame (13) as well at its corners. Each cantilever of the wing (22) is rotatable in its suspension unit and is collapsible backwards along the axis of the aeroplane. The carrying platform (14) is provided with connection units (25 and 26) of the main supports (7 and 8) of the landing gear in the configuration of the aeroplane with a tail and a nose (6) support, respectively. The point of connection of a bracing strut (9) to the longeron (23) of the wing (22) is located within the range of 0.3-0,4 of the half-span of the latter.
