Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention discloses an aerosol generating apparatus using an induction heating method, the aerosol generating apparatus comprising: a plurality of coils having different numbers of windings, the coils generating an alternating-current magnetic field when an alternating-current is applied; a susceptor for generating an aerosol by heating an adjacent aerosol-generating substrate in a manner in which heat is generated in the alternating-current magnetic field generated from the coils; and a control unit for controlling a preset alternating-current to be supplied to the coils, respectively, wherein the control unit controls a first portion and a second portion constituting the susceptor to be differently heated by the alternating-current supplied to the plurality of coils.
