Abstract:
The present application provides an aerosol generating device, used for heating an aerosol generating article to generate an aerosol. The aerosol generating device comprises a housing having a proximal end and a distal end opposite to each other. The housing is provided with: a receiving cavity having a receiving hole located at the proximal end, wherein during use, the aerosol generating article can be removably received in the receiving cavity by means of the receiving hole; a heater extending at least partially along the axial direction of the receiving cavity for heating the aerosol generating article; an air inlet; and an air flow passage comprising an air inlet portion extending from the air inlet toward the heater substantially along the radial direction of the heater, and an air outlet portion extending to the receiving hole along the axial direction of the receiving cavity. According to the aerosol generating device, air directly extends from the air inlet to the heater along the radial direction and then is outputted, thereby achieving a short path and a smaller resistance to suction.
