Abstract:
An aerosol-generating system according to various embodiments may comprise an aerosol-generating device and an aerosol-generating article contained in a medium container. The aerosol-generating device may comprise: a housing comprising a first housing end and a second housing end on the opposite side to the first housing end; an outer air inflow unit detachably coupled to the first housing end of the housing; a medium container disposed inside the housing, the medium container comprising a first wall and a second wall facing the first wall; a heating unit disposed outside the first and second walls of the medium container so as to heat an aerosol-generating article contained in the medium container; and an air flow passage tube for fluidically connecting the medium container and the second housing end of the housing. The outer air inflow unit may include a perforated hole through which a fluid flows in from outside the aerosol-generating device.
