Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a mechanism enabling improvement of quality of user experience. [Solution] An aerosol generation system comprising: a housing with an opening; an insertion portion into which a part of an aerosol generation article is inserted; a first supporting portion supporting the insertion portion; a cam ring with a cam groove; a guide tube with a guide groove provided along a direction of insertion and extraction of the aerosol generation article; and a cam pin that is arranged on the surface of the first supporting portion and slidable along the cam groove and the guide groove, wherein the insertion portion overlaps the opening in the direction of insertion and extraction of the aerosol generation article, and in the first supporting portion, the cam pin slides along the cam groove and the guide groove in accordance with rotation of at least one of the cam ring and the guide tube and moves in the direction of insertion and extraction of the aerosol generation article inside the housing.
