Abstract:
Disclosed is a technology that makes it possible to make effectively wide use of age authentication information. A first age authentication system (10) is provided with an age authentication unit (14) for confirming that a user is at or older than a predetermined age in accordance with transmitted user age information, and linking and storing a unique GIC ID and an electronic mail address of the user in an age authentication ID memory unit (16). In the case where an age authentication request together with a GIC ID is transmitted from a content server (32), the age authentication unit (14) transmits a notice of the completion of the age authentication to the content server (32), after referring to the age authentication ID memory unit (16) and confirming whether the GIC ID in question exists or not therein.
