Abstract:
Pests still cause major damage, and pests occur that resistant to existing pesticides, so the present invention addresses the problem in crop production, including agriculture and horticulture, of developing and providing a novel agricultural and horticultural insecticide. This problem is solved by: a condensed heterocyclic compound having a substituted cyclopropane oxadiazole group represented by general formula (1) {in the formula, favorably, R1 represents an alkyl group, R2a and R2b represent a hydrogen atom, R3 represents a haloalkyl group, and Q is an imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine}, or a salt thereof; an agricultural or horticultural pesticide having said compound or a salt thereof as an active component; an ectoparasite or endoparasite control agent for animals; and a method for using the same.
