Abstract:
Provided are: an agrochemical composition for soil treatment which, when soil treatment with pyroxasulfone is performed on a field, is able to prevent or reduce chemical injury on crops caused by absorption without being affected by heavy rain, soil type, depth of seeding, and the like, and has high safety and a wide herbicidal spectrum; and a pest control method using the same. The agrochemical composition for soil treatment contains pyroxasulfone and a masking substance for masking the pyroxasulfone and is characterized in that the pyroxasulfone is microcapsulated in or coated with the masking substance.
