Abstract:
The present invention relates to a flagstick surrounding information provision apparatus and method which provide information regarding a distance from a flagstick without installing a separate sensor on the flagstick located in a hole, and provide information regarding the distance and surroundings from the flagstick via an image on a smartphone. The flagstick surrounding information provision apparatus of the present invention comprises: an image acquisition unit that acquires an image from a camera attached to the flagstick surrounding information provision apparatus; an object recognition unit that recognizes an object from the image; and an object surrounding information provision unit that provides, from the image, information regarding the surroundings of the object.
